busy bee. buzzbuzzbuzz

Back from hong kong! Wedding was beautiful and so was everyone.
I really do love the feeling of being with family and relatives..
Will definitely not want to miss any chance to meet up!

And after 7 long years, finally met up with an old friend! Or shld i say, family i had in edmonton.
He was one of the people who gave me love and warmth when days were too cold to bear.
But due to unfortunate circumstances, things just shattered.. Dreams and relationships all gone in an instant.
So i am really happy that the warm and fuzzy feeling is still there when we met!
Looking forward to more of such dinner get togethers :)

Old memories were also evoked during this trip..
Questions of what could have been.. What ifs..

But all in all, im glad how i turned out to be through it all..

accompanied client to orchard clinic for a medical checkup
taitai wif huge blingblings+ferragamoshoes commented, "wah so good ar, accompanied yr client to the clinic", chatted wif me, and asked for my namecard.

and of all things, i dont have my namecard wif me. *snores*
she gave me her no instead, and asked me to check some insurance stuff for her.
yay~`

actually i was quite surprised at the clarity of insurance questions dat she posed, ie. she knows what she wants.

1. My brother moved out! No more rubbish to clear! Good thing my sis-in-law is equally sloppy. Haha…
2. Rediscovered my abs after misplacing them in the first quarter. Hullo there!
3. Rekindled deep friendships with Bryan, Spencer, Nic and Nat
4. Met someone who started me on this self-reflective life. Thank you Dal.
5. Discovered positive psychology and CBT
6. Worked with a great bunch of kids for ey-why-gee who helped me discover my new direction
7. Took the jump and did a career switch. It’s been fulfilling so far :)
8. Discovered the wondrous joy of travelling alone. Oh how I miss the peace…
9. Travelled with my sis-in-law and found that I really do like her.
10. Intermittently picked up the guitar and started playing again. Make It Mine by Jason Mraz is surprisingly easy to pull off convincingly.
11. Read some pretty amazing books. Dune (x6), Seligman, Age of Iron, Diary of a Bad Year (yeah, I’m on Coetzee now)
12. Discovered iTunes U. Intro to Psych, Game Theory, Evolution, Zombie Culture, and Speaking of Faith!!! (I is geek, hear me type.) Speaking of faith is really good, very inspirational.
13. Being able to be there for my friends, my many many friends who show me that I have a lot to give.
14. Met quite a number of interesting people with moving life stories. Or perhaps, I slowed down enough to want to listen.
15. No root canal treatment. (super big blessing)
16. Grew, grew and grew. Quite a quantum leap of self.
17. Family, friends and faith.

Cheers to the twilight year of my twenties! :)

But life is still good and up and running!
It'll be a great weekend of catching up with relatives and family and looking fat in a dress. Sounds perfect to me.

Miao. Friends came over for steamboat and games to celebrate Jason Bloodnite belated birdday earlier.

I had to leave my house for halfway to meet another client (met clients whole day today. tiredz) @westcoastplaza.

When I went back home eventually, some frens left liao. So paiseh :s

But tis' always good to have frens over for their gd company =)

so yesterday i had to talk abt insurance in hokkien with smatters of mandarin to client's dad.
